The Island County Master Gardener Foundation exists to support the Master Gardener activities. Funds raised through plant sales and workshops make it possible for our certified Master Gardeners and Interns to carry out their educational mission in the community.
Master Gardeners are WSU Extension trained volunteers who enjoy sharing their gardening knowledge with others in our community to promote healthy landscapes, healthy foods and healthy lives. They provide public education in gardening and environmental stewardship based on research at WSU and other university systems. The Island County Master Gardener Program makes between 2,500 and 4,000 contacts each year through its various outreach and educational programs including plant clinics.
The Master Gardener Program is open to all. To learn more Contact Us
