There is much to discover in this vital and engaging hub of the Workshop


With the largest array of vendors in the Workshop's 32-year history, the Marketplace will be filled with exciting plants, garden art, garden accessories, gifts, and much more. See our Vendor List


Update your knowledge about how to be a better steward of our environment in the areas of conservation, sustainability, climate change, noxious plant eradication, and other topics provided by non-profit educational agencies.

In the Bookstore, located in the Marketplace, find books written by our Workshop instructors, including our keynote speaker, Richie Steffen. Instructors will be available at posted times for book signings.

Resting Sites

Look for the umbrellas! We will have a variety of places where you can sit and rest under bright umbrellas. Munch on goodies from the Oak Harbor High School Booster Club near the Marketplace or enjoy espresso at the Buzzmobile located in the courtyard.

Raffle and Store

The raffle has been expanded to include even more great items. The store will offer for sale many one-of-a-kind creations, such as art work, plant arrangements, and other treasures crafted by our own Master Gardeners.

Floral Design Competition

Sophisticated and dramatic floral arrangements will be displayed in the Floral Design Competition, a brand-new Workshop attraction this year. Be enthralled with the creative talents exhibited in this display. Click here to read more about this exhibit.


The Marketplace provides a Package Storage area where you can store your purchases for later pickup, as well as a Lost and Found. Go to the On-Site Services page to find out more about these services.

The Marketplace is open from 8 am to 5 pm.

You will find many opportunities to stroll through the Marketplace before and after the keynote,

during the lunch period, and following the afternoon classes.

At 1 pm the Marketplace will be opened to the public.

We request a donation of $5 to enter the marketplace without a Workshop registration.
